A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Build your own environment: Generate terrain, plant trees, place rocks, and decide in which zones creatures and food will spawn.

Creatures have Traits which are expressed in their appearance and abilities:

  • Max Speed: Moving fast can prove to be an advantage, but comes at a higher energy cost.
  • Height & Radius: Bigger creatures are stronger and can store more energy. However, they also require more energy for breeding and movement.
  • Sense: Is it more advantageous to perceive distant objects or to prioritize awareness of your immediate surroundings?
  • Digestion Speed:  Fast digestion makes it possible to convert food into energy more quickly, but also increases the possibility of nutrient loss.
  • Fur Density: Thick fur helps creatures stay warm in negative temperatures, but makes it difficult to dissipate heat in warmer climates.
  • Fin Size: Large fins enable creatures to move through water more efficiently.
  • Colour: Purely aesthetic for now

Creatures exhibit unique behaviours determined by their Neural Network that is made up out of Node and Connection Genes.  Green denoting a positive weight, red a negative weight and gray a rather neutral weight.

Their genes undergo constant mutation with each offspring, paving the way for novel traits and survival strategies to emerge.

Saving: Only one save file is supported at the moment!

Demo Simulator: I highly recommend trying out the demo first to get a sense of the simulator's capabilities. In this demo, I have pre-created an environment with default parameters, aiming to showcase a wide range of possible outcomes.
